Newly designated Committee on Transition chair Gregorio M. Camacho has appointed a nine-person Transition Executive Committee to oversee the transition to the incoming administration of incumbent and governor-elect Eloy S. Inos and lieutenant governor-elect and Senate President Ralph DLG. Torres (R-Saipan).<\/p>\n
Named to the panel are NMI Republican Party president James Ada as vice chairman and members Rufin S. Inos, Edward C. Deleon Guerrero, Esther S. Fleming, Mathilda A. Rosario, representative-elect Angel A. Demapan, and Torres brothers Vince, Victorino, and Joaquin.<\/p>\n
The Dec. 10, 2014, letter was addressed to all CNMI government department and activity heads, boards, and commissions.<\/p>\n
In related news, Inos has appointed Ivan Blanco as acting public information officer in lieu of Demapan who won a seat in the 19th House of Representatives.<\/p>\n
Blanco, who already served in the same capacity while Demapan was campaigning during the last general election, also served as the GOP media & public relations chair in Inos\u2019 successful run in the 2014 gubernatorial runoff.<\/p>\n
