In addition to interviews with the late Dr. Pius &#8220;Mau&#8221; Piailug in Satawal, Navigators discusses archaeology and accounts of explorers\u00a0to examine the history of navigation and\u00a0how traditional Pacific societies sustain this valuable cultural system.<\/p>\n<p>First Friday Films is a monthly film series in partnership with the National Park Service and the Division of Environmental Quality, with generous support from community groups such as the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>The Pacific Historic Parks (formerly the Arizona Memorial Museum Association) Bookstore, located inside the Visitor&#8217;s Center, will be open until 8:30pm. All proceeds go to community education programs.<\/p>\n<p>For planning purposes, the movie runs about 80 minutes long. As always, \u201cFirst Friday Films\u201d is free and open to the public.
