SHRM\u2019s guest speakers, noted immigration attorneys from both the CNMI and Guam will address a variety of immigration issues ranging from the recent CW-1 visa program extension, the uncertainty of the E2C program, the effect of the Presidents Executive Order, and other current issues.  Our Speakers will provide an opportunity for questions from the audience.<\/p>\n<p>Attorneys Maya Kara and Bruce Mailman, partners in the noted local CNMI law firm, Mailman &#038; Kara, LLC, the CNMI\u2019s foremost specialists in U.S. immigration law, will first address the CW-1 visa program and its recent extension, clarifying what the extension does and what it does not do. They will also discuss problems employers encounter and how to avoid RFEs and denials.  They will also discuss President Obama\u2019s recent Executive Action, the deferred action programs for children and parents, who qualifies and how this action applies in the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Nelson J.
