Poll. For Tinian Elementary, second place winner is Jerimiah Hofschneider and third place winner is Cielo Long.<\/p>\n<p>Although the schools from Rota and Tinian were not present this year for the event, Paseo de Marianas Promoters, Inc. decided to get the children from Tinian and Rota involved through an art contest.<\/p>\n<p>PDM coordinator Sonia Siwa said that the judges had already finished the tabulation and posted the winners at the PDM area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe theme of the drawing contest was \u2018My Holiday Greetings to our Visitors\u2019 participants are all elementary students from Tinian and Rota. The criteria is for its attractiveness and colorfulness and should be island tradition themed,\u201d Siwa said.<\/p>\n<p>This is the 8th year that the schools had joined the Christmas in the Marianas. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t want these children to be left out of our celebration since this event is for the children of the CNMI so they are part of it,\u201d Siwa said.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes will be given as well to the students. First place will receive $50, second is $30, and third is $20.
