Eloy S. Inos administered the oath of office to Pai, who passed the Senate and House of Representatives\u2019 confirmation processes with flying colors last month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMike has worked selflessly to ensure that the performance of\u00a0government programs and services meet the standard of reasonable assurance that they comply with the intent of laws, regulations, and policies.\u00a0I am confident that Mike will revisit the issue of resolving current and outstanding single audit findings, that he will ensure transparency and accountability in government services, and perform his duties to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse in our government system,\u201d said Inos after Pai\u2019s oath-taking.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In an earlier interview with Saipan Tribune, Pai said he appreciates the governor\u2019s confidence in him and thanks the House and the Senate for their support in giving him another term.<br \/>\n\u201cServing as the CNMI public auditor is the biggest honor and highlight of my career and I want to thank the governor, the Legislature, and the community of the CNMI for their confidence and support,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The governor reappointed Pai as public auditor last Oct. 6.
