Both KHS\u2019 fabric fresheners and SSHS\u2019 phone charms sold out that night, according to both clubs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst your charm it, cap it, and love it,\u201d Yvonne Indalecio, president of the SSHS JA Club said, when asked to describe how to place the charms on your phone.<\/p>\n<p>The baubles come in different symbols, each with their own special meaning. One bauble was shaped as a pink ribbon to support breast cancer awareness; another one was teal, in support of the fight against sexual and substance abuse and ovarian cancer.<\/p>\n<p>SSHS JA Club\u2019s company is called \u201cPacific Bauble.\u201d They sold charms at $2.99 per piece.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of meaning, a lot of messages, a lot of accessorizing\u201d come with what they offer, Indalecio said.<\/p>\n<p>Their booth was decorated with Christmas lights, balloons, and their \u201cPacific Bauble\u201d logo that night. Indalecio appeared excited and confident about their club\u2019s chances in the competition. She said the \u201cfire was on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are attracting customers like flies,\u201d she told Saipan Tribune. They sold all their 272 charms, according adviser Jonathan Aguon.<\/p>\n<p>The money will go to the stock capital of the JA club, Indalecio said, so they could have more money to buy marketing supplies and improve their company.<\/p>\n<p>There were also rubber charms as well in the shape of butterflies, hearts, American flags, suns. They also had silver charms in the shape of starfish, dolphins, feathers, and bicycles.<\/p>\n<p>Aguon said his students spent weeks to discuss, formulate, and get their business up and running. \u201cThey came up with a product. They manufactured it, and even created a commercial to promote it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve had different selling events to promote the company and to promote the products, and it all culminates tonight with the final selling event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud because their hard work really shows,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Allison Arellano, vice president of the Kagman JA club, described their product as an \u201canti-bacterial air fabric freshener.\u201d Its purpose, she said, is to take away the \u201cmoldy smell\u201d of household items.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has certain components, like geranium, lemongrass, and rosemary, and we are selling it for $10 [a bottle],\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>People should buy it because it\u2019s Christmas and it comes in Christmas coding, purple and gold, she added<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are officially sold out. We made a great profit,\u201d she said. They brought 25 bottles to the market.<\/p>\n<p>The students made the products themselves, combining and measuring the ingredients, and ordering the bottles online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis island has a need.
