{"id":18792,"date":"2011-09-23T08:18:16","date_gmt":"2011-09-23T08:18:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newspaper.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=18792"},"modified":"2011-09-23T08:18:16","modified_gmt":"2011-09-23T08:18:16","slug":"man-allegedly-hits-wife-with-broomstick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/man-allegedly-hits-wife-with-broomstick\/","title":{"rendered":"Man allegedly hits wife with broomstick"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>By Ferdie de la Torre<br \/>\nReporter<\/div>\n<p>A man allegedly hit his common-law wife with a broomstick on the face after an argument with his wife&#8217;s mother on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Herman Michael Selepeo Jr., 23, was arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.<\/p>\n<p>The victim&#8217;s left eye was swollen, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Selepeo was allowed to post a $625 cash bail yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Peter A.
