{"id":187945,"date":"2014-12-23T04:00:48","date_gmt":"2014-12-22T18:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=187945"},"modified":"2014-12-23T04:00:48","modified_gmt":"2014-12-22T18:00:48","slug":"pss-ceases-investigation-vice-principal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/pss-ceases-investigation-vice-principal\/","title":{"rendered":"PSS ceases investigation of vice principal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Public School System has ceased its investigation of Saipan Southern High School vice principal Eric San Nicolas for having inappropriate relationships with students during his time as teacher and principal at Tinian Jr. Sr. High School.<\/p>\n<p>PSS said they \u201cdid not find evidence to support a finding that [San Nicolas] had inappropriate relationships with students\u201d of the high school. San Nicolas voluntarily resigned from his post as vice principal this month, according to PSS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPSS has stopped its inquiry and process. PSS takes all allegations of misconduct by its employees seriously and will continue to put the welfare of its students first,\u201d it said in a statement. PSS would not comment further.<\/p>\n<p>San Nicolas was sent on administrative leave with pay on Sept. 29.
