{"id":188696,"date":"2015-01-06T04:00:34","date_gmt":"2015-01-05T18:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=188696"},"modified":"2015-01-06T04:00:34","modified_gmt":"2015-01-05T18:00:34","slug":"bank-guam-offers-10k-college-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/bank-guam-offers-10k-college-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Bank of Guam offers $10K in college scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>HAGATNA, Guam<\/strong>\u2014Bank of Guam is pleased to announce that applications are now available for its 2015 IFIT Scholarship Program, which makes $2,000 available to five graduating high school seniors to attend a U.S.-accredited four year college or university. The scholarship also includes a paid summer internship at the Bank\u2019s branches.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for the program, applicants must:<\/p>\n<p>1. Reside in Guam, the CNMI, Palau,\u00a0 Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, or San Francisco, California;<\/p>\n<p>2. Be high school seniors, Class of 2015 (copies of transcripts and SAT\/ACT scores required);<\/p>\n<p>3. Submit the original, numbered application by March 3, 2015 to Bank of Guam, ATTN:\u00a0 Marketing Department;<\/p>\n<p>4. Submit three (3) letters of recommendation, one from a reference of choice; and<\/p>\n<p>5. Submit answers to four (4) essay questions.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will be available for use at any four-year, U.S.-accredited college or university.
