(Jayson Camacho)\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" class=\"size-full wp-image-189157\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-189157\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">J Boog, second from left, is joined by his crew members during a press conference held a day before the concert at the Fiesta Resort and Spa.<br \/>(Jayson Camacho)<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nHundreds of fans streamed to the Fiesta Resort and Spa\u2019s beachside over the weekend to watch one of Micronesia\u2019s well-known reggae singer, J Boog, who held his first ever concert on the island.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the persistent rain that drenched hundreds during the concert, nothing could stop the crowd from surging toward the stage after J Boog came out a quarter to 10pm.<\/p>\n<p>Coming on stage after local performers entertained the crowd, J Boog\u2019s crew members hyped the crowd up. As \u201cJ Boogs\u201d name was being chanted, the man himself got on stage and started his live performances.<\/p>\n<p>Fans enjoyed singing along with J Boog and his interaction with the crowd was one of the highlights of the night.<\/p>\n<p>The event started at 5:30pm and ended around 10pm. An after-party was later held at GIG.<\/p>\n<p>Concert coordinator Nola Hix thanked everyone for coming and the sponsors for attending.<\/p>\n<p>Jerry \u201cJ Boog\u201d Afemata said the way he makes his music is all \u201cfeel good music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt actually comes from the heart and we incorporate reggae music. One of the first jams we have been listening to and it is pretty much everywhere even from the islands back home and in California.
