{"id":189217,"date":"2015-01-13T04:00:33","date_gmt":"2015-01-12T18:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=189217"},"modified":"2015-01-13T04:00:33","modified_gmt":"2015-01-12T18:00:33","slug":"jkpl-extending-deadline-registration-ukulele-classes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/jkpl-extending-deadline-registration-ukulele-classes\/","title":{"rendered":"JKPL extending deadline registration for ukulele classes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Joeten Kiyu Public Library will be hosting ukulele classes and has extended its registration deadline to Jan. 27, according to JKPL Children Library associate Erlinda Naputi.<\/p>\n<p>Ukulele instructor Larry Lee will be conducting the classes that will begin on Jan. 27 every Tuesday from 4pm to 5pm. Classes cost $50.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLee\u2019s class was set to begin Jan. 13, but JKPL pushed it back to Jan. 27,\u201d Naputi said.<\/p>\n<p>The intermediate class is for students who passed Lee\u2019s beginners class or students who have basic ukulele skills and would like to advance their knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum age requirement is 8 years and older but adults are welcome too. Students must provide their own ukuleles and a folder to hold music sheets.
