{"id":189327,"date":"2015-01-14T04:00:10","date_gmt":"2015-01-13T18:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=189327"},"modified":"2015-01-14T04:00:10","modified_gmt":"2015-01-13T18:00:10","slug":"united-airlines-offers-bonus-miles-promo-premium-cabin-travelers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/united-airlines-offers-bonus-miles-promo-premium-cabin-travelers\/","title":{"rendered":"United Airlines offers bonus-miles promo for premium-cabin travelers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CHICAGO&#8211;United Airlines announced Friday the start of a special bonus-miles promotion, enabling MileagePlus members to significantly boost the award miles they earn for choosing to fly the airline\u2019s premium cabins.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning today and for travel completed through Feb. 28, members may earn up to 12,000 bonus award miles per flight segment, in addition to base earnings and other bonus miles they typically earn.<\/p>\n<p><a attid=\"189330\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/graph.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/graph-300x137.jpg\" alt=\"graph\" width=\"300\" height=\"137\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-189330\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Long-haul flights include those of at least 3,000 miles and United\u2019s p.s. Premium Service between New York JFK and Los Angeles and between New York JFK and San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>Customers who purchase premium-cabin tickets for United and United Express-operated flights and United-marketed flights operated by partners Air Canada, ANA, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Copa, Lufthansa and Swiss may take advantage of the promotion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this offer, we are pleased to begin the New Year by further rewarding our premium-cabin customers for their loyalty and their value,\u201d said Praveen Sharma, United\u2019s vice president of loyalty.<\/p>\n<p>Members do not have to register for the promotion; United will add the bonus miles to their MileagePlus accounts after they have completed a qualifying flight.
