The Saipan Little League Baseball Inc. board is calling managers and coaches of all competing teams this season to attend a meeting tomorrow at 5:30pm at the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n
The main agenda is the final opening day of the 2015 season and other matters concerning the league.<\/p>\n
The SLLBI board also said that the same day will be the deadline for submission of all team rosters, eligibility requirements, and other documents.<\/p>\n
A total of 26 teams will be playing in the 2015 Saipan Little League with 13 competing in the 9-12 division while four squads each are joining the Junior (12-14) and Big (15-18) leagues. Five will be contending for the Senior league (13-16) crown.<\/p>\n
The SLLBI board is hoping to start the season later this month so they could finish early and allow the four All-Star teams a longer time to practice and prepare for the CNMI district and Asia-Pacific-Middle East regional tournaments.<\/p>\n
Saipan, reportedly, will be hosting the Asia-Pacific-Middle East regional tournaments in the Junior, Senior and Big leagues.
