Lorenzo Deleon Guerrero (Ind-Saipan).<\/p>\n<p>In an interview yesterday, Deleon Guerrero said that DFW has put the permit on hold as the project\u2019s scope of work does not indicate a permanent drainage where the runoff will go.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe scope of work does not provide any information on a permanent drainage, on how will the runoff water be diverted to a basin,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Deleon Guerrero said that DFW is waiting for a response from the Department of Public Works on the scope of work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are now awaiting DPW\u2019s response basically for additional information for the runoff before they issue the permit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, there are basin areas in Kagman where the water could be diverted to. \u201cI know there are several areas that have ponding basins.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Almost all regulatory agencies have signed off on the road project, which is estimated to cost $506,446.94.<\/p>\n<p>The project involves paving four areas. Three roads are in Kagman: Pine Drive, Chopak Drive, and Mangga Street.
