The eldest daughter of missing Saipan Fresh Market owner Zhi Yuan Li is offering a $50,000 cash reward to anyone who has information that will lead to her father\u2019s whereabouts.
\nThe 23-year-old daughter told Saipan Tribune yesterday that she will give the cash reward to the tipster who can lead police to her father\u2019s location\u2014whether he\u2019s still alive or already dead.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to put that information about $50,000 cash reward every day in your newspaper,\u201d said the daughter, who asked not to be identified by name.
\nShe said the person with information should call the police and not her or the store. The daughter believes her father is still alive but she refused to elaborate.<\/p>\n
A businesswoman earlier told Saipan Tribune that she was willing to put up a $10,000 cash reward for information. Li\u2019s girlfriend told Saipan Tribune last week that she was willing to offer $20,000 cash reward.
\nThe daughter said her mother, who arrived from China last week, and Li\u2019s girlfriend are in good terms and that her father\u2019s girlfriend has been raising her and her 13-year-old sister.
\nLi\u2019s wife and 65-year-old father arrived on Saipan last Thursday from China.<\/p>\n
A family member said Li is already separated from the wife. The girlfriend and Li\u2019s 23-yearold daughter are now operating the store.
\nLi, 43, has two brothers on Saipan. Family members and members of the Chinese community continued their search for Li over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Li was reportedly last seen on Jan. 17 at 11am, seeing a friend at a tire shop in Puerto Rico. His family reported his disappearance to police that day at 7:56pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
