{"id":190407,"date":"2015-01-27T04:02:23","date_gmt":"2015-01-26T18:02:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=190407"},"modified":"2015-01-27T04:02:23","modified_gmt":"2015-01-26T18:02:23","slug":"trench-tech-fighters-renew-pxc-deals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/trench-tech-fighters-renew-pxc-deals\/","title":{"rendered":"Trench Tech fighters renew PXC deals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trench Tech fighters Shane \u201cPikaboo\u201d Alvarez, Josh \u201cChaos\u201d Duenas, and Vince \u201cThe Clinch\u201d Masga signed fresh six-fight deals with Pacific X-Treme Combat, making  them busy until 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Trench Tech promoter Cuki Alvarez told Saipan Tribune that the three are scheduled to have two to three fights this year until 2016.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will be busy until 2016. But of course all three of them have been training non-stop to remain in shape and in fighting form,\u201d said the older Alvarez.<\/p>\n<p>Masga (5-1, with 3 by submission) will be the first to climb the PXC cage when he takes on Scotty \u201cDa Slaya\u201d Eclavea of Guam in PXC\u2019s inaugural event in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Masga is still fresh from winning his PXC debut in PXC 45 where he scored a unanimous decision victory against hometown bet McKlane Alfred (3-2, with 1 knockout) last Oct. 24 at the University of Guam Fieldhouse in Mangilao.<\/p>\n<p>It was also Masga\u2019s second straight win after losing by technical submission\u2014rear-naked choke\u2014in the third round to Guam\u2019s Ricky \u201c2 Slick\u201d Camp (4-3, with 2 KOs) in Rites of Passage 16: Unleashed in April last year. His first was recorded against Daniel Floor at Rites of Passage 17 also last year.<\/p>\n<p>Eclavea is no pushover as the Guam fighter, who holds a 3-1 card with 2 wins by submission, is coming off a unanimous decision victory against compatriot Mike Sanchez (1-1) also in PXC 45.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_190413\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-190413\" style=\"width: 288px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a attid=\"190413\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/trenchpix.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/trenchpix-288x300.jpg\" alt=\"Shane \u201cPikaboo\u201d Alvarez competes in last year\u2019s Art of War 9: Grappling, Submission and Jiu jitsu Challenge.
