Two unidentified men robbed two female tourists who were walking in front of Gold Beach Hotel along Beach Road in Garapan Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
Department of Public Safety police spokesman Travis Hurst said the suspects managed to get the victims\u2019 handbags.<\/p>\n
Hurst said he has no information yet on the contents of the handbags.<\/p>\n
He said the suspects fled aboard a gray newer model Toyota Sienna.<\/p>\n
Hurst identified the victims as Jang Han and Wei Wang, both Chinese tourists.<\/p>\n
Police investigation showed that DPS Central Dispatch received a call of a robbery near Gold Beach Hotel on Tuesday at 9:50pm.<\/p>\n
According to the victims\u2019 account, they were walking along the road when two men got out of a gray Toyota Sienna, approached them, and grabbed their handbags.<\/p>\n
The suspects fled back to the Toyota Sienna and took off, heading east on Gualo Rai Road toward Chalan Pale Arnold Road (Middle Road).<\/p>\n
Hurst said DPS is seeking the public\u2019s assistance in apprehending the robbers.<\/p>\n
