Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The weekend meet\u2019s first four events featured the 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, 50m butterfly, and 100m butterfly races with the former drawing the most PBTs with 26.<\/p>\n<p>All six swimmers in the girls 9 to 10 division achieved PBTs in the 50m backstroke with Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Nanaka Watanabe leading the field with her 45.06 seconds (from 50.03). Other PBT getters were Saipan Swim Club\u2019s Jinie Thompson (51.57 seconds), Coume Kaga (52.49), Ayaka Sato (1:03.88), and Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Natsuki Nagata (53.16) and Ayumi Obligacion (59.58).<\/p>\n<p>In the girls 11 to 12, five of the six swimmers gained PBTs: Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Sophia Gauran (41.34) and Aika Watanabe (42.31) and SSC\u2019s Conatsu (44.14), Jin Ju Thompson (45.87), and Jasmin Frink (51.01).  Other female swimmers who notched PBTs in their respective age groups were U8\u2019s Ashley Dangol (43.69) and Shaunalyn Babauta (1:00.73) of Tsunami Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>In the boys U8 division, Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Hans Xu and  Isaiah Aleksenko set PBTs of 44.46 seconds and 48.11 seconds, respectively.  Anthony Camacho-Deleon Guerrero (44.72), Suzuki Rentaro (58.31), and Tomie Kenta (58.32) also of Tsunami Saipan, and SSC\u2019s Jinnozuke Suzuki (43.68) had the same feat in the 9 to 10 age group.<\/p>\n<p>Completing the list of PBT getters in the boys division were 11 to 12\u2019s Lennosuke Suzuki (39.08 seconds), Taiga Sato (41.72), Rinto Takahashi (43.03), and R.J. Pierce (46.67) of SSC and Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Yoshino Jhota (48.01).<\/p>\n<p>In the longer race\u2014the 100m backstroke\u2014three male swimmers earned PBTs with Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Kaito Yanai logging the fastest time at 1:14.07.Kento Akimaru and Christian Villacrusis of SSC submitted the two other PBTs in the boys division after recording 1:16.20 and 1:21.53, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the girls division, three Tsunami Saipan swimmers bagged PBTs: Angel De Jesus (1:26.70) and siblings Kyona (1:28.66) and Daime Rivera (1:39.72).<\/p>\n<p>The Rivera sisters also posted PBTs in the 100m butterfly event with Kyona registering 1:33.29 and Daime tallying 1:42.26. In the boys division, Akimaru (1:13.38) and  Villacrusis (1:19.22) and Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Mark Maestro (1:35.20) and Yanai (1:08.03) reset their PBTs.<\/p>\n<p>In the shorter event\u2014the 50m butterfly, 19 PBTs were recorded.<\/p>\n<p>In the girls division 10 got PBTs.
