Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Of the 42 PBTs in the event\u2019s next two events, 20 were logged in the 50m breaststroke\u2014the fifth event of the weekend meet held last Jan. 24.<\/p>\n<p>The six swimmers entered in the girls 9 to 10 division led the list of PBT getters in the 50m breaststroke event with Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Nanaka Watanabe tallying the fastest time at 46.65 seconds and breaking her 49.27.  Coume Kaga came in at second with her 50.86 seconds and also shattered her previous PBT (54 seconds), while the four remaining  swimmers in the division also earned PBTs with Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Ayumi Oligacion recording 57.47 seconds, teammate Natsuki Nagata posting 57.83 seconds and SSC\u2019s Jinie Thompson tallying 1:02.22 and Ayaka Sato timing in at 1:09.23.<\/p>\n<p>In the girls U18 division, Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Kana Suzuki (1:03.61) and Shaunalyn Babauta (1:04.33) got PBTs, while two more Tsunami Saipan bets, Sophia Gauran and Aika Watanave, had the same feat after clocking in at  44:33 seconds and 49.90 seconds, respectively, in 11 to 12 age group.<\/p>\n<p>In the boys division, Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Hans Xu (51.92 seconds) and SSC\u2019s Dino  Sato (1:06.67) were the PBT getters in the U8 division, while Tsuanmi Saipan\u2019s Anthony Camacho-Deleon Guerrero (49.15 seconds), Juhn Tenorio (52.80 seconds), and Tomie Kenta (57.56 seconds) and SSC\u2019s Jinnozuke Suzuki (52.66 seconds) and Taiyo Akimaru (56.11 seconds) did it in the 9 to 10 race.<\/p>\n<p>In the boys 11 to 12 division, three earned PBTs: SSC\u2019s Taiga Sato (46.66 seconds) and Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Jhota Yoshino (48.49 seconds) and Nelson Batallones (52.44 seconds).<\/p>\n<p>In the 100m breaststroke event, which was for swimmers in the 13-and-above age group, five eclipsed their old PBTs.  In the 13 to 14 division, Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Kyona Rivera and Katherine Illahi set new PBTs of 1:39.54 and 1:58.21, respectively, while Mark Maestro was the third swimmer from the club to get a PBT with his 1:36.30. SSC\u2019s David Boyer was in the same age group and had a PBT of 1:51.06, while Tsunami Saipan\u2019s Angel De Jesus raced in the 15 to 16 division and tallied a PBT of 1:37.79.<\/p>\n<p>Boyer and Maestro marked PBTs, too, in the 100m freestyle after clocking in at 1:09.57 and 1:09.04, respectively, while the former\u2019s teammates Christian Villacrusis (1:03.61) and Kento Akimaru (1:03.83) also hit PBTs.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining 11 PBTs in the next four events of the Jan. 24 meet was logged in the 50m freestyle race.<\/p>\n<p>Four were registered in the boys 11 to 12 with Sato marking 33.66 seconds and fellow SSC swimmers Rinto Takahashi and R.J. Pierce timing in at 34.37 seconds and 38.01 seconds, respectively. Yoshino completed the list with his 41.28 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Xu (37.27 seconds), Dino Sato (50.44 seconds), Jinnosuke Suzuki (35.28 seconds) and Kenta (48.25 second) were the four other PBT getters in the boys division.
