{"id":190910,"date":"2015-02-03T04:00:49","date_gmt":"2015-02-02T18:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=190910"},"modified":"2015-02-03T04:00:49","modified_gmt":"2015-02-02T18:00:49","slug":"pics-7th-annual-duck-race-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/pics-7th-annual-duck-race-saturday\/","title":{"rendered":"PIC\u2019s 7th Annual Duck Race this Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Going on its 7th year, the Pacific Islands Club\u2019s annual duck race and human duck race will commence this Saturday evening at the PIC.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview yesterday evening, PIC director of sports, entertainment and activities Glenn Policare said the human duck race still has two slots left.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are 22 confirmed slots for the human duck race and we only have two left,\u201d Policare said.<\/p>\n<p>Confirmed slots include T-Galleria\/DFS, which took seven slots; Saipan Swim Club, which took two; Saipan International School and PIC-SEA department, two. The American Red Cross-NMI Chapter, Trench Tech, Calvo\u2019s Insurance, Saipan Ice and Water Co., KKMP, and Island Apparel each took one slot.<\/p>\n<p>The entry fee for companies wanting to fill the remaining two slots is $50 and winners of the human duck race will receive four PIC annual membership pass.<\/p>\n<p>PIC will provide swim caps, duck beaks, life jackets, swim fins and an inflatable duck.<\/p>\n<p>Policare said there are still available plastic ducks if community members still want to purchase one.
