As the mysterious disappearance of Saipan Fresh Market owner Zhi Yuan Li enters its third week, his 65-year-old father and wife were set to leave the CNMI last night.<\/p>\n
Department of Public Safety Commissioner James C. Deleon Guerrero said yesterday the investigation into Li\u2019s disappearance is still ongoing. He did not elaborate.<\/p>\n
Li\u2019s brother told Saipan Tribune yesterday that their father and Li\u2019s wife were going back to China last night.<\/p>\n
The brother said he does not know when their father is coming back to Saipan.<\/p>\n
The father and Li\u2019s wife arrived from China a few days after the businessman\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n
A family member also stated that DPS investigators have yet to return Li\u2019s white Toyota Tacoma to the family.<\/p>\n
Li, 43, was reportedly last seen on Jan. 17 at 11am, seeing a friend at an \u201caccounting office\u201d near a tire shop in Puerto Rico. His family reported his disappearance to police that day at 7:56pm.<\/p>\n
The following morning, police recovered Li\u2019s Toyota Tacoma pickup truck abandoned at a dirt road located between Ladder Beach and Obyan Beach.<\/p>\n
Li\u2019s other brother refused to comment yesterday, saying the Federal Bureau of Investigation has already been looking into the matter.<\/p>\n
