On the other hand, the Democrats’ wishy-washy leadership no thanks to Obama and Reid is equally dangerous to the average American. Until both parties sit down and get to work so that they are both on the same page, this nation will continue down the road to ruin.

Our very way of life is threatened because of “one size fits all” legislating by the Republicans and “tax, tax, tax and spend” ideological thinking by the Democrats. These are indeed troubling times and it will take some sort of miracle to get both sides to admit their unyielding stance is hazardous to America’s wellbeing. Didn’t we elect these people to represent us and do what is best for us? As far as I can see, they’ve done what is not best for us.

Herb Stark
Mooresville, NC

With the likes of McConnell and Boehner leading the Republican charge for indiscriminate cuts to…

[7
1834,312,399,320
post-191379","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-letters-to-the-editor","tag-nc","tag-obama","tag-social-security","tag-us
["GET
