He was also an alumnus of PCC who received a certificate in Agriculture in 1979. Skang was also a prominent sports member of the Palauan community. In 1990, his athletic agility and prowess earned him a gold medal for the All-Around Event of the Micronesian Games held on Saipan.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_191422\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-191422\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Rosendo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-191422\" src=\"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Rosendo-300x191.jpg\" alt=\"Colleagues of Rosendo Skang at the Palau Community College attend his funeral. (Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Skang passed away in December 2014 and his funeral was held on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015.
