Northern Marianas International School students once again excelled in the recently concluded Thespians regional competition held on Feb. 7-8, 2015.<\/p>\n

NMIS thespians regional participants and winners from right: Robi Jan Magat, Mikaela Vergara, Deirdre Mae Rosete, Myka Villegas, Jhino Valiente, Maverick Irang, Dindo Ferrer, and Thespians coach\/coordinator Ms. Kathy Barja.<\/figcaption><\/figure>Two students won gold medals in this school year\u2019s competition. In Thespians, the top award winners will have the opportunity to compete at the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska. Myka Kassandra R. Villegas and Deirdre Mae P. Rosete won gold medals in Duet Acting. They will join the CNMI team to represent the islands at the prestigious event.<\/p>\n

Villegas also won last year\u2019s JITS Competition for duet acting with Kristine Fajardo.<\/p>\n

NMIS coach and coordinator Katherine Barja said, \u201cWe did it again! Our hard work paid off. I would like to thank the parents, NMIS staff, and judges for all the support.\u201d<\/p>\n
