Monroyo)<br \/><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The sweet-shooting Diaz won the Finals MVP trophy, while swingman Mungcal took home the regular season MVP plum during the league\u2019s awards ceremony held last Saturday at the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>Diaz scored 18 points in their 94-78 demolition of KB Hite in the title match last weekend. His consistent outside shooting complemented the inside game of Blue Haus\u2019 frontliners Junar Guiab, Edwin Santos, and Edsel Mendoza, making it easier for the eventual champion to dismantle KB Hite.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran cager sparked Blue Haus\u2019 good start in the finale, scoring 7 of his total points in the first period where he outgunned the entire KB Hite crew. KB Hite registered only 6 points in the first 10 minutes of play and never recovered.<\/p>\n<p>Before suffering a bad beating from Blue Haus, KB Hite stunned the second-seeded Armatech and the favored Bammy\u2019s Restaurant to advance to the finals.<\/p>\n<p>Mungcal was among the top scorers for KB Hite in their last two matches before their title duel against Blue Haus.
