In less than 30 minutes after learning about a stolen vehicle, police officers recovered the car and arrested the suspect in San Vicente on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Thomas Daniel Riner, 31, was arrested for theft of vehicle.<\/p>\n
The green 1997 Honda Civic with license plate ACM-385 was impounded until it can be recovered by its owner, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Travis Hurst on Friday. He did not name the victim.<\/p>\n
Hurst said DPS Dispatch was notified on Friday at 2:16pm about a theft of vehicle incident in Kagman.<\/p>\n
A police sergeant responded to the scene to investigate and immediately relayed the information to other officers.<\/p>\n
Hurst said two police officers spotted the stolen car that same day and stopped it on Isa Drive in San Vicente at 2:27pm.<\/p>\n
Hurst said the driver, Riner, was arrested and brought to the Department of Corrections for booking.<\/p>\n
No information was provided on how the car was stolen.<\/p>\n
