{"id":193396,"date":"2015-03-09T04:00:19","date_gmt":"2015-03-08T18:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=193396"},"modified":"2015-03-09T04:00:19","modified_gmt":"2015-03-08T18:00:19","slug":"ncd-alliance-conduct-new-surveillance-survey-ncds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ncd-alliance-conduct-new-surveillance-survey-ncds\/","title":{"rendered":"NCD Alliance to conduct new surveillance survey on NCDs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI might very well be looking into having its first-ever surveillance survey for the prevalence rate of non-communicable disease, which has not been conducted for many years.<\/p>\n<p>NCD Alliance member Becky Robles said they have started working on the survey questions.<\/p>\n<p>Robles, who is also the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.\u2019s Division of Public Health Non-Communicable Disease Bureau administrator, said she needed to finish the final draft before Friday last week.<\/p>\n<p>The need for a prevalence survey in CNMI is very much needed, as NCD Alliance chair Dr. Don Hardt noted when presenting different statistics that were available from past years.
