(Walter Sutherland)\" width=\"100\" height=\"85\" border=\"0\" \/>\u00a0Rollers Basketball Club-Department of Youth Services Rollers pounced on the Ray Basa Kagman Rollers, 76-49, in Wednesday&#8217;s Saipan Rotary Club Youth Basketball League U19 matchup held at the TSL Sports Complex in Gualo Rai.<\/p>\n<p>DYS Rollers improved its win-loss card to 3-4, while Kagman dropped to just a pair of wins in six games.<\/p>\n<p>The season continues tomorrow in Gualo Rai with the Sonics (5-1) taking on Hi-5 (3-3) at 5pm.<\/p>\n<p>The DYS Rollers shared the ball well in the opening eight minutes and built an early 25-19 lead.<\/p>\n<p>John Cenir paced DYS with six points in the first quarter, while Kagman&#8217;s Frank Mettao and Chico Kaipat provided the brunt of their team&#8217;s offense, tallying nine points apiece.<\/p>\n<p>The defense tightened on both ends in the second quarter, but DYS maintained a 32-27 edge at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>DYS&#8217; Daryl Suarez converted an old-fashioned 3-point play late in the period to keep his team in the driver&#8217;s seat.<\/p>\n<p>Then in the third quarter DYS&#8217; John Darag delivered seven markers as his team surged ahead, 43-32, heading into the final canto.<\/p>\n<p>Kagman fell out of sync in the period and allowed a lot of easy transition baskets to its rival. Most of Kagman&#8217;s turnovers were unforced.<\/p>\n<p>Sensing weakness at the start of the final period, DYS reloaded and finished the game strong.<\/p>\n<p>Kagman&#8217;s J.R.
