He will turn 21 on March 19.

The Masga-Eclavea is one of the seven undercard bouts including Frank “The Crank” Camacho (15-2-0, with 11 wins by knockout) going up against Japan’s Yusuke Kasuya (8-1-2, with 1 KO).

The bout between Sweden’s Zebaztian Kadestam (6-1-0, with 4 KOs) and Han Seul Kim (4-2-0, with 2 KOs) of South Korea is the main headliner.

Masga, who left with his team that include Trench Tech Gym fight promoter Cuki Alvarez last Tuesday, said that it has been a brutal eight weeks of training camp where he needed less than a month to lose 30 pounds in his weight.

“We’ve been continuously training with the guys at Trench Tech but the last two months have been brutal where I train three to four times a day,” said Masga (5-1, with 3 wins by submission).

He added that he weighed 169 lbs when they started training camp and in less than a month he lost 30 lbs. “I used to fight in the 145-155 weight division but this time I’m targeting 125 at flyweight.”

Masga said that he knows that Eclavea is a good submission fighter as his opponent is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt. “He is a good grappler but in his last fight he beat Mike Sanchez with his stand-up skills. So, I have to also be careful with that”

Alvarez said that they even put Masga inside the “shark tank” where he went up against five fighters one at a time.

“Whether he wants the fight standing up or on the ground, I’ve trained hard and I’m ready for this. I believe in my team and I will just follow our fight plan and go for the win,” said Masga.

“I feel great, confident, and ready for this fight. I feel that I’m in the best shape of my life. I’ll just let my skills do the talking,” added Masga, who also thanked his sponsors Trench Tech, 670 Rocksteady Shop, Get Fit CNMI, and The Shack Saipan.

[5
2841,1289,2842,2843
post-193794","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-sports","tag-pacific-x-treme-combat","tag-pxc","tag-trench-tech-gym","tag-yusuke-kasuya
["GET
