Tan Holdings FC won the battle of the Top 2 teams in Division 1 of the M-League, outclassing Wild Bill\u2019s, 6-4, last Sunday at the Oleai Sports Complex Field.<\/p>\n

With the victory, Tan Holdings solidified its hold to the division lead, improving to an immaculate 5-0-0 win-draw-loss record, while Wild Bill\u2019s stayed in second place, but fell to a 4-0-2 mark.<\/p>\n

Sean Perez lifted Tan Holdings against Wild Bill\u2019s with his hat-trick, which were also registered in the second half that started with the opposing teams in a deadlock, 2-all.<\/p>\n

Martin Jambor drilled the two goals for Tan Holdings, as he scored in the 11th and 38th minute. Tanapon Unsa duplicated Jambor\u2019s feat, hitting his first goal in the 18th and the equalizer one minute before the first half wrapped up.<\/p>\n

In the second half, Wild Bill\u2019s managed to take the lead off Lar Wongpaya\u2019s goal in the 48th minute, but Tan Holdings countered with three goals in a span of five minutes to regain the upper hand. Takemoto Suzuki scored in the 55th minute, while Perez had notched two straight goals in the 57th and 60th for their 5-2 advantage.<\/p>\n

An Adul Detdon shot in the 78th kept Wild Bill\u2019s in the game, but Perez found the back of the net anew five minutes later to seal it for Tan Holdings.<\/p>\n

In Division 2 matches, the Thundercats bagged an easy win over the CNMI Women\u2019s National Team, 5-10, while World Resort and Matansa settled for a 2-2 draw.<\/p>\n

Timothy Tawanpiy, Cosmos Kim, Don Cabrera, John Villagomez, and Yong Jun Jeo scored for the Thundercats, who nailed their first win in five games. The CNMI WNT remained winless after five matches.<\/p>\n

Matansa retained the Division 2 lead as the draw against World Resort improved the former\u2019s record to 4-1-1, two wins ahead of idle Shirley\u2019s FC (2-2-1) and Kanoa FC (2-1-1). World Resort holds a 1-3-1 slate for fifth place in the seven-team field.<\/p>\n

Matansa avoided an impending loss when Tej Gurung converted a penalty kick in the last minute of the match. Gurung also recorded the team\u2019s other goal in the second half, while Daniel Agulto and DHiraj Chhetri hit the board for World Resort in the first half.<\/p>\n

Dove Women\u2019s
\nFootball League<\/strong>
\nIn the first game in the renamed Dove Women\u2019s Football League last Saturday, Shirley\u2019s Football Club routed Kanoa, 8-0.<\/p>\n

Alexa Vergara had a pair of goals in the Shirley\u2019s demolition of Kanoa, while Jeralyn Castillo, Kiana Atalig, Elaine Enriquez, Marilou Gariguez, Dianne Pablo, and Diana Maniacop added one goal apiece.<\/p>\n

Shirley\u2019s also played last Tuesday and had another easy win against Matansa, 6-1.<\/p>\n

Gabrielle Race led the victory with her twin goals, while Mia Carreon, Gariguez, De Jana Muna, and Maniacop chipped in one goal each. Bernadette Horey logged the lone goal for Matansa.<\/p>\n

Shirley\u2019s remained unbeaten in five games to stay on top of the seven-team field.<\/p>\n

In the other match last Saturday, Tan Holdings FC nosed out Matansa, 3-2.<\/p>\n

Choe Salvosa, Renita Fleming, and Mary Kay Alferos delivered the goals for Tan Holdings, while Matansa drew one goal each from Ratree Ditwiset and Horey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
