McDonald\u2019s turns 22 years on Saipan today. On Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22, the anniversary promotions they dole out this year will be offered at both their locations on Middle Road and in Garapan.<\/p>\n

For breakfast, buy one Portuguese Sausage, Eggs and Rice Platter, and get a second Portuguese Sausage, Eggs and Rice Platter for half the price. You can also buy a bacon, egg, and cheese McGriddle Meal, and get your second bacon, egg and cheese sandwich for only a dollar.<\/p>\n

For lunch or dinner, buy any Extra Value Meal from item Nos. 1 to 11 on their regular menu and get the other sandwich of the same kind for $3 only.<\/p>\n

And to wash that down, try their eggnog shakes of any size for dessert\u2014and get another one free.<\/p>\n

For Marcia Ayuyu, McDonald\u2019s owner\/operator, this is their way of giving back to the loyal and supportive community responsible for their continued success these last two decades.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re inviting customers to come out and celebrate with us on these two days. We want to thank the community for their continued support. Without them, we wouldn\u2019t be successful,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Ayuyu also thanked the McDonald\u2019s employees and her office staff. \u201cYou can\u2019t be anything on your own, without their help,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I also thank our maintenance guys. They really do a wonderful job,\u201d she said, adding that with their help they were able to still serve customers during Tropical Storm Bavi.<\/p>\n

Manager Joe Ayuyu Jr. said they came up with these special promotions specifically as a way of \u201cgiving value back\u201d to their loyal customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe invite everyone to come out and celebrate,\u201d he said, thanking the dedicated employees of McDonald\u2019s as well.<\/p>\n

He said their anniversaries every year have been about celebrating both community and employee support.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur 21st year has treated us well, and we are looking forward to our 22nd year,\u201d the manager said. \u201cWe are always excited to what this coming year is going to bring again. In McDonald\u2019s continuous effort to improve quality, we will be coming up with new kinds of grilled chicken and a new patty, for a juicier, tender bite.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marketing manager Ana Olaes added, \u201cWe always find a way to give back.\u201d<\/p>\n

For their 22nd year, they are looking at new tastes to their famous fries and nuggets, as well as rolling out new sandwiches, she said.<\/p>\n

Their new chicken will still be made of pure white meat, decked with herbs.<\/p>\n

And for their beef patties\u2014because of the popular approval of their Angus burgers\u2014they will be introducing a sirloin steak burger this May or June.<\/p>\n
