{"id":194798,"date":"2015-03-26T04:00:27","date_gmt":"2015-03-25T18:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=194798"},"modified":"2015-03-26T04:00:27","modified_gmt":"2015-03-25T18:00:27","slug":"private-schools-aim-for-rigorous-bylaws","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/private-schools-aim-for-rigorous-bylaws\/","title":{"rendered":"Private schools aim for \u2018rigorous bylaws\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Coalition of Private Schools is revising their bylaws for \u201cmore rigorous\u201d requirements for membership.<\/p>\n<p>According to coalition president Galvin Guerrero, these new standards will require schools to submit curriculum, a list of employees, and certifications.<\/p>\n<p>A \u201ccompliance committee\u201d will be formed and an annual certificate given to schools.<\/p>\n<p>He said the coalition plans to publish every year its members, along with their coalition requirements, so the public will what schools are not part of the coalition.<\/p>\n<p>According to Guerrero, their next meeting is in April.<\/p>\n<p>He said since has been elected as president of the coalition it has been a challenge to get all private schools to agree.
