Clayton said the CDBG funding from NMHC will help the club’s community project if NMHC accepts their application.

Clayton noted that the project’s estimated cost is between $150,000 and $200,000.

“Our design basically is that the basketball court will eventually become a full court with bleachers and a cover for the bleachers, a fence, children’s playground, and sitting area at the back. Everything is going to be within the center’s area,” he said.

Clayton said they will submit their application to NMHC on April 6.

“So the proposals that we’re going to turn in on April 6, we will find out if it is accepted and then hopefully get construction going and get it done. As of now there is nothing happening yet, we need additional funding. The funding from CDBG will supplement the project,” he said.

Rotary Club of Saipan’s Kagman park project might start seeing improvements this year if funding…

[4
310,3342,3343,1120
post-195126","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-local-news","tag-basketball","tag-brian-clayton","tag-cdbg","tag-nmhc
["GET
