Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The summit, which ran for two days on Monday and Tuesday, brought a panel of speakers looking to empower women as leaders in the workforce, preservers of culture, and promoters of a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n<p>The summit highlighted the CWA\u2019s mission, which is to ensure that women are fully engaged in the political, economic, and social development of the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>On its last day, more than 60 women came together to come up with resolutions that will be unveiled at the next Women\u2019s Summit.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Felicidad Ogumoro (R-Saipan), who chairs the association, said the resolutions, which identified issues and concerns important to women, will be analyzed and summarized toward a targeted goal that they will aim to achieve before another summit is held.<\/p>\n<p>On the first day of the summit, two topics were discussed: \u201cEmpowering Women as Leaders\u201d and \u201cWomen in the Workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday the summit began at 7am and ended after 4:15pm.
