{"id":195532,"date":"2015-04-03T04:00:17","date_gmt":"2015-04-02T18:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=195532"},"modified":"2015-04-03T04:00:17","modified_gmt":"2015-04-02T18:00:17","slug":"young-professionals-learn-the-benefits-of-diversity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/young-professionals-learn-the-benefits-of-diversity\/","title":{"rendered":"Young professionals learn the benefits of diversity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Saipan Chamber of Commerce hosted its first event for its Young Professionals Committee, a presentation on the benefits of diversity in the CNMI and the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Chairperson Mable Ayuyu arranged the free presentation by Dr. Laura Souder and her husband, Dr. Samuel Betances, on Wednesday evening, April 1, in the conference room of the Chamber office at Marianas Business Plaza.<\/p>\n<p>The couple owns a company called Souder, Betances &#038; Associates. They offer diversity training and consulting. This year, Drs. Souder and Betances spoke at the \u201cMy Youth, My Island\u201d Conference in Palau to provide inspiration to the youth.
