They scoured the streets in Kagman 3 from past Chacha Oceanview Middle School, down to Kagman Market and to Tank Beach. Many cadets participated and by the end of the day, about 500 lbs of various types of litter was picked up. Littering is illegal now and anyone who litters can face a maximum fine of $500, but many people are still littering, and are completely ignoring the negative impact that littering has on the environment. The Ayuyu Battalion encourages the public to stop littering if you love our island and to help protect the wildlife for future generations to enjoy.
