Ada Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>PSS crushed an undermanned MARPAC side, 95-53, for its fifth win in seven games, while IT&#038;E survived a seesaw battle against Joeten Enterprises, 73-69, to improve to 4-4. MARPAC suffered its eighth straight loss while Joeten dropped to 4-3.<\/p>\n<p>PSS found MARPAC an easy opponent as the latter showed up with only five players in the first half.<\/p>\n<p>PSS scored 12 straight points, while MARPAC struggled with their shooting and only made a basket in the 5:12 mark of the opening quarter on a Jay Diyco jumper.<\/p>\n<p>PSS ended the first period up by 14, 26-12, and was never threatened after that.<\/p>\n<p>Marlon Cabrera led four other PSS players that finished in double figures with 22 points and 12 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Maverick Itibus tallied 19, Preston Basa had 17 points and 8 assists, Jerry Diaz finished with 15 markers, and Joe Villacrucis scored 14 and added 10 assists.<\/p>\n<p>Diyco paced MARPAC with 23 points, while Thorn Sablan added 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 steals.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, IT&#038;E leaned on Edsel Mendoza\u2019s free throw shooting in the final moments of the fourth period to escape with a 73-69 decision over Joeten Enterprises.<\/p>\n<p>Mendoza ended up with 19 points, mostly on free throws, making eight straight from the charity stripe. He also had 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 assist, and 1 block.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Peredo paced IT&#038;E\u2019s scoring with 20 markers, while also grabbing 8 rebounds and ending up with 5 steals, an assist, and a block. Nate Mateo and Jason Palacios chipped in 12 and 11 markers each.<\/p>\n<p>Dixon Kwon led Joeten with 25 points and 8 rebounds, while Syl Teregeyo scattered 12 points and grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds.
