Frank \u201cThe Crank\u201d Camacho is hoping to redeem himself from his loss in last month\u2019s Pacific Xtreme Combat 47 when he takes on Deep Impact Japan fighter Yoshiyuki \u201cNagisa\u201d Katahira in Rights of Passage 18: Warpath, which has been pushed back to May.<\/p>\n
ROP 18 is set on May 15 at 7pm at the Saipan World Resort where the Camacho-Katahira fight is the main headliner. Two title matches are also scheduled aside from 10 to 12 undercard bouts.<\/p>\n
Camacho (15-3, with 11 knockouts) suffered a first round loss via rear-naked choke submission to Japanese shooto champion Yusuke Kasuya (9-2-1) in Guam\u2019s PXC 47<\/p>\n
Katahira is also coming off a loss to Keita Nakamura by rear-naked choke submission in Deep Impact 71 on Feb. 28, 2015.<\/p>\n
Guam\u2019s Jose \u201cYoung Blood\u201d Ramirez (1-1), who defeated the CNMI\u2019s Vince \u201cVinsanity\u201d Pua (2-3) in Trench Warz 18: Rock and Rumble last year, will face Eric \u201cGatti\u201d Gatman (2-0) for the 155-pound lightweight belt.<\/p>\n
Ramirez was about to fight Ryan \u201cDa Predator\u201d Toves (2-3) in Trench Warz 18 last December, but the HBP Guam fighter pulled out due to health reasons.<\/p>\n
Gatman is fresh from a second-round triangle choke submission win against the CNMI\u2019s \u201cShiska\u201d Bob Alvarez, who was making his MMA debut in Trench Warz 18 last Dec. 12, 2014.<\/p>\n
Shane \u201cPikaboo\u201d Alvarez, another Trench Tech fighter, will vie for the vacant 125-lb title against a still undetermined opponent.<\/p>\n
The flyweight belt was vacated after it was stripped from Josh \u201cChaos\u201d Duenas (4-5) following the former champion\u2019s failure to defend his title for not making weight.<\/p>\n
ROP 18 was originally set on April 24 but was pushed back to May 15 at the Saipan World Resort to give Trench Tech Promotions more time to organize the event after two of their sponsors pulled out.<\/p>\n
Trench Tech promoter Cuki Alvarez said Hertz, IT&E, and Mango Resort are now on board as their new sponsors.<\/p>\n
