IT&E, in partnership with the Saipan Paddling Club through the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality\u2019s Adopt-A-Beach program, repainted and beautified two of the three Kilili Beach pavilions located across the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium. The pavilions adopted by these groups were the structures on the south end and north end as the pavilion in the center has already been adopted by another group.<\/p>\n

A total of 61 volunteers consisting of both the Saipan Paddling Club and IT&E staff and families came together early Saturday morning to clean up and repaint the two Kilili Beach pavilions.\u00a0 With a few paintbrushes, some paint, and willing hands, these groups were able to complete the painting and even picked up trash in the area.<\/p>\n

Justin Andrew, Saipan Paddling Club president, said he was humbled by the show of support from both groups.<\/p>\n

Rob Harrell, IT&E executive director of Customer Operations and a Saipan Paddling Club member, said he is proud to be a part of both groups who truly advocate for environmental cleanliness and protection.<\/p>\n

The project could not have been successful without the support and materials provided by BECQ.\u00a0 IT&E wanted to expand their commitment to the community in addition to the Adopt-a-Beach Program by participating in the Adopt-a-Pavilion.<\/p>\n
