{"id":199376,"date":"2015-04-17T04:00:48","date_gmt":"2015-04-16T18:00:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=199376"},"modified":"2015-04-17T04:00:48","modified_gmt":"2015-04-16T18:00:48","slug":"more-on-saints-secular-and-otherwise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/more-on-saints-secular-and-otherwise\/","title":{"rendered":"More on saints, secular and otherwise&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SAINTS\u2014SOME HONEYBEES AND SOME WANNABEES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most mothers are saints, grandmas, aunties, and sisters<br \/>\nand second cousins are sweet sainted honeybees<br \/>\nbustling in kitchens with flour, butter, and eggs<br \/>\nbaking bread, cakes, and pies for nascent wannabees<\/p>\n<p>There are wannabee saints who promised the world to some girl<br \/>\nthen left before she delivered the baby or in the next few years<br \/>\nthe baby still in diapers they played lover boy and churl<br \/>\ntheir trip to sainthood left in the lurch, they shifted genital gears<\/p>\n<p>Saintly worker bees continue their love making money\/honey<br \/>\nproving daily their potential in providing for the queen<br \/>\nin the hive are the drones for whom daily work is not funny<br \/>\ntheir wings fanning the way to sainthood somewhere in between<\/p>\n<p>Wannabees go from being stamen with pistol flour to flower<br \/>\nwhile honeybee saints drip honeycomb hour by sticky hour<\/p>\n<p><strong>SAINTS? MARTYRS?
