(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASAN, Guam<\/strong>\u2014Three Joint Region Marianas fire and emergency services personnel competed for the Commander, Navy Installations Command FES award and received recognition in their respective categories.<\/p>\n<p>Andersen Air Force Base FES Fire Prevention Chief Ernest Rios, Assistant Fire Chief of HAZMAT, Safety Master Sgt. Crispin Pacificar, and Firefighter Christopher Cruz were named runners-up as the Navy Fire Inspector of the Year, Navy Military Fire Officer of the Year and Navy Civilian Firefighter of the year, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese nominations are a reflection of our whole team,\u201d Cruz said. \u201cIn the fire department we are a team, we\u2019re a family and no one does it on their own.
