Those who want to turn their homes on to solar energy can learn more at the opening of Micronesia Renewable Energy\u2019s CNMI office at the Island Commercial Center across Shell Gas Station on Middle Road tomorrow, Saturday.<\/p>\n
General manager Christopher Sablan told Saipan Tribune that the company is amped up and excited to continue the success they\u2019ve had in Guam in the last three years by working with CNMI residents and businesses.<\/p>\n
The renewable energy company will offer the first month of costs free for qualified customers who sign up between April and May, Sablan said. More information can be had at the grand opening on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The office opens at 10am Saturday.<\/p>\n
MRE-CNMI is partnering with Sunnova, a nationwide solar energy company, for their \u201cSOLAR4ALL\u201d program.<\/p>\n
\u201cHomeowners who want to be able to hedge and reduce their energy costs but were cash-restrained can now accomplish this with no money down,\u201d Sablan said in a statement.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis solar energy service agreement structure will offer two options that can reduce the typical homeowner\u2019s monthly bill by up to 25 percent, and with no money down this is truly a spectacular program for the CNMI.\u201d<\/p>\n
One of the largest expenses for a homeowner is energy costs. The new program will allow homes to save money and place it where it is needed most\u2014back into education, family vacations, and savings, says MRE-CNMI.<\/p>\n
