{"id":200104,"date":"2015-04-24T04:00:28","date_gmt":"2015-04-23T18:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=200104"},"modified":"2015-04-24T04:00:28","modified_gmt":"2015-04-23T18:00:28","slug":"football-festival-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/football-festival-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"Football festival tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Northern Mariana Islands Football Association will hold its festival for the spring season this Saturday at the Koblerville Elementary School Field.<\/p>\n<p>About 200 players are expected to participate in the festival that will start at 8am (for U8, U10, and U12 age groups and 3pm (for U6 grassroots).<\/p>\n<p>The U8 age group will have seven teams divided into two groups. Pool A has Matansa Football Club, MP United-2, Kanoa, and Paire and they will play in a round-robin format. Pool B has only three teams in MP United-1, Shirley\u2019s FC, and Tan Holdings and they will have games in a double-round robin format.<\/p>\n<p>Each match will be played in two 10-minute halves and game will be 6-a-side with at least two female players on the pitch at all times.<\/p>\n<p>For the U10 age group, there are four teams in each group. Pool A has Paire, Kanoa, Matansa, and MP United-2. MP United 1 heads Pool B and will be joined by Tan Holdings, Tinian Premier, and Shirley\u2019s FC. Matches will be 8-a-side (at least two female players on the pitch) and two 10-minute halves with each pool playing in a round-robin format.<\/p>\n<p>The U12 division also has a round-robin format and  an 8 aside game, but each match will be played for 30 minutes (running time).
