{"id":200214,"date":"2015-04-27T04:00:26","date_gmt":"2015-04-26T18:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=200214"},"modified":"2015-04-27T04:00:26","modified_gmt":"2015-04-26T18:00:26","slug":"tinian-dps-sets-seatbelt-checkpoints","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/tinian-dps-sets-seatbelt-checkpoints\/","title":{"rendered":"Tinian DPS sets seatbelt checkpoints"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Tinian Department of Public Safety would like to inform the general public that the Traffic Section will be conducting DUI\/sobriety checkpoints on the dates and time listed below:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Wednesday, April 29, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm\u2014eastbound lane by the baseball field.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm\u2014eastbound lane by the baseball field.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Friday, May 15, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm\u2014southbound lane on Broadway by the Natibu Park.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Monday, May 25, 2015, 11am to 12:15pm\u2014east bound lane by the baseball field; 4pm to 5:15pm\u2014southbound lane by the Youth Center<\/p>\n<p>Each safety belt checkpoint will last at least 75 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes). Checkpoints are subject to be terminated if it begins to rain. This activity is part of the Department of Public Safety\u2019s effort to ensure that all safety belts and car seat restraints are worn at all times.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, traffic officers will be conducting highway criminal interdictions and laser (speed detection) enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact Police Officer III Wally F.
