On Saturday night, April 25, 2015, at about 6:50pm, police were dispatched to an auto-moped accident at the intersection of Town House Parking lot (southern entrance\/exit) and Beach Road, Chalan Kanoa.<\/p>\n
The victim, a Chinese male, 47, was operating a blue moped and was traveling on the outer southbound lane of Beach Road, approaching the intersection of the Town House parking lot exit (south end). A gray 2013 Toyota Highlander 5 wagon car, operated by a 27-year-old local female, was attempting to make a left turn onto Beach Road and travel north when it collided with the moped.<\/p>\n
The operator of the moped was injured and transported to the Commonwealth Health Center Emergency Room for further treatment. Injuries of the victim will not be released.<\/p>\n
The investigation on this case is ongoing.
