Yonsei Academy will be hosting its 7th Piano Concert, this time as a fundraising effort for children in Chuuk who were affected by Typhoon Maysak.<\/p>\n
The piano concert will be held on May 2, 2015, a Saturday, at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center.<\/p>\n
Section I featuring 1st to 8th grade students will start at 5pm; Section II featuring 9th to 12th grade students will start at 7pm. Section II will also feature Guam TBMF gold medalists, a piano battle, CHC music volunteers, Saipan Junior Choir.<\/p>\n
The concert ticket costs $5 and can be purchased at the entrance door on that day.<\/p>\n
At previous fundraising concerts, the school raised $1,454 for PSS in 2012 and $625 for typhoon victims in the Philippines in 2014.<\/p>\n
The main purposes for Yonsei Academy concert is to improve students musical talents, encourage creativity, and \u201cLearn to Give\u201d by donating to those in need.
