A conscientious group called Alternative Zero insists that local residents\u2019 say on the matter before anything else is supremely more important in the process. The present method is all-powerful Goliath dictating on subservient David.<\/p>\n
Alternative 4 is a \u201csave Pagan, save Tinian, our history, our home\u201d proposal, including safeguarding the turtle eggs and the endangered tutut (rose dove bird).<\/p>\n
The proposed action is for military use of Pagan and Tinian as live fire range locations, with restrictions on land and air access; the action and alternatives given are not \u201cwhether or not\u201d but which \u201chow\u201d might be followed. Public discussion is welcomed.<\/p>\n
Alternative Zero encourages residents to read the proposal and offer comments, to make sure that ordinary folks understand the document, what decision is called for, and one can feel confident that what one says about it shall be listened to and seriously considered.<\/p>\n
