{"id":201033,"date":"2015-05-08T04:00:37","date_gmt":"2015-05-07T18:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=201033"},"modified":"2015-05-08T04:00:37","modified_gmt":"2015-05-07T18:00:37","slug":"cape-air-flight-turns-back-to-guam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/cape-air-flight-turns-back-to-guam\/","title":{"rendered":"Cape Air flight turns back to Guam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Cape Air flight carrying 35 passengers, one child, and a crew of three bound for Rota had to turn back to Guam due to issues with the plane.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Cape Air\/United Express public relations office, flight UA5038 from Guam to Rota returned to Guam shortly after take off due to a mechanical issue.<\/p>\n<p>The afternoon flight was set to depart for Rota at 1pm yesterday, according to flighstats.com.<\/p>\n<p>Cape Air\/United said the aircraft landed safely back in Guam at 1:25pm.<\/p>\n<p>The mechanical issue was fixed and the aircraft was placed back into service and departed at 5:15pm.
