Fitial has entered a guilty plea today, Wednesday, to two offenses\u2014misconduct in public office and conspiracy to commit theft of services.<\/p>\n<p>Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman accepted Fitial\u2019s guilty plea and ordered him to appear on Saipan for his sentencing on June 17, 2015, at 1:30pm.<\/p>\n<p>The change of plea hearing was held in the U.S. District Court for the NMI in Garapan. The 69-year-old Fitial was in Makati, Philippines, when he appeared at the hearing through a teleconference. His counsel, Stephen Nutting, and Office of the Public Auditor legal counsel George L.
