Jung Eun Teack won the Saipan Golfers Association\u2019s April Ace of the Month held last May 3 at the Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort Club.<\/p>\n
The current SGA president limped back to the clubhouse with a 43 in the front but had a better showing at the back with a 39 for an 82 gross. His 12 handicap gave him a 70 net for a one-shot victory over Joe I. Sablan.<\/p>\n
Sablan, a 21 handicapper, had rounds of 45 and 47 for a 92 and a 71 net for second place, while Manny Alvarez came in third after a 40 at the front and back for an 80 and 73 net after his seven handicap.<\/p>\n
SGA vice president Greg Sablan Jr. had the longest drive at holes No. 6 and 18, while Ray San Nicolas was the closest to the pin at holes 3 and 7 with Larry I. Deleon Guerrero and Jess Castro duplicating his feat at Nos. 12 and 14, respectively.<\/p>\n
Nine other SGA members joined the one-day event.<\/p>\n
Teack now joins January Ace Attorney General Edward Manibusan, February winner John \u201cNani\u201d Cruz, and March monthly champion Deleon Guerrero for the season-ending Ace of Aces tournament.<\/p>\n
